Amir Ramsis’ A NOSE AND THREE EYES held a red carpet event culminating in a special screening in the presence of the film’s cast, crew, and several media big-wigs on Wednesday, January 31st ahead of its highly-anticipated commercial release in Egyptian theaters the following day.

In attendance at the event were producer and Founder of Lagoonie Film Production Shahinaz El-Akkad; cast members Dhaffer L'Abidine, Saba Mubarak, Amina Khalil, Sedky Sakhr, Gihan El-Shamashergy, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Nabil Maher, Nora Cheichaa, and child actor Selim Mostafa; in addition to Ramsy El-Adl, Hassan El-Adl, director Amir Ramsis, screenwriter Wael Hamdy, and DOP Ahmed Gabr.

A Lagoonie Film Productions and Rise Studios production, A NOSE AND THREE EYES is a contemporary rendition of Ihsan Abdel-Quddous' novel — which was originally adapted into a film in 1972 — that world premiered to critical acclaim at the third Red Sea International Film Festival’s Arab Spectacular Program.

The film revolves around Dr. Hashem — a renowned plastic surgeon in his mid-40s who remains single despite having been in two long-term relationships before. However, when he meets Ruba — a woman who is 25 years his junior — he finds himself unable to resist her charms and allure despite the age gap.

Founded by producer Shahinaz Elakkad in 2017, Lagoonie Film Production is an Egyptian company that aims to develop the film and TV industry in Egypt and the Arab world by making and distributing high-quality films and TV series that address fresh and original topics.
